More Old School Purple Hair

Shiva is a model/photographer who I actually hired for my first modeling portfolio, yes I hired a photographer to get me started and did not start out with self taken myspace photos. Her advice to me on modeling was also very welcome and helpful,.
She is the person that needs to be blamed for the quote “you should be a figure model”
This shoot was a several hour endeavor in several locations about her house studio and a local cemetery. Shiva knows when the lighting is good at each location and it seemed that we were running against the clock to get the good light… or I was hiding in the shade of a mausoleum because the sun was just too strong. Shiva managed to pull 4 or 5 separate looks sets and lighting conditions out of that one afternoon. She is still shooting; still modeling and still living on both sides of the camera.
I had purple hair back then it was my last testament to being a full time artist & model. I have gone through so many jobs where I was not allowed to have my purple hair and well I was so happy to finally have it bleached and dyed bright purple.. Then I realized that it took forever to maintain, was a pain in the ass to keep bright with no roots, and yes even as an alternative model, photographers wanted more traditional figure work out of me, and they wanted a more natural hair color…
